We supply two types of Pacific Rock Oyster - Porlock Bay Oysters from Porlock Weir in Someret, and Brancaster Oysters from the cousin of Rich (of The Bristol Oyster Co) in Norfolk.
Both types are sourced directly from the oyster farms, which ensures they're extremely fresh when delivered.
We do regular home deliveries in Bristol as well as providing an oyster bar for weddings and events.
Rich Summers founded The Bristol Oyster Co with the vision of making fresh high-quality oysters accessible for everybody, not just for diners at top restaurants: “We have all this incredible seafood right here on the shores of the UK, packed with protein and goodness, super sustainable, and so delicious, and yet we still see oysters as the preserve of fine dining. I really believe that good oysters should be for the many, not just the few, so I’m always on hand to give customers tips on shucking and recipes.”
“My family has been in the oyster business for generations, since my great-grandfather started before the First World War”, says Rich. “I’ve been lucky enough to have been spoilt with the freshest, most incredible seafood since I was a child, and I’m so happy now to have the chance to share my love of oysters with customers in my home city of Bristol.
